ACTIVELY MANAGING FORESTS...

WE COLLECT GOOD LIFE PRACTICES ...
... AND MAKE THEM AVAILABLE TO FOREST MANAGERS
Themes of application of good practices
The analysis of hundreds of LIFE projects of forestry interest, regarding sustainable forest management, protection of biodiversity, habitats and rare species, has allowed to identify 15 application themes divided into 5 categories.
The project aims to "distill" the Good Practices from LIFE projects selected at European level.
Good Practice means the detailed nature conservation application tools defined on the basis of a APPLICATION TOPIC (sustainable forest management, climate change mitigation, climate change adaptation, nature conservation, biodiversity conservation), an APPLICATION CONTEXT (biogeographical region, habitat, etc.), PROBLEMS and THREATS treated.
